Designer Moment: Jonathan Logan

Jonathan Logan was a popular manufacturer of younger women’s dresses – geared to the young, but not the super trendy, usually classic and dressy. The company was founded in 1944 by David Schwartz as a small company with ten employees. The designer in the early days was Dorris Varnum, and in the late 1950s Jeanne Carr was the designer.
