Dancer in Hollywood

Ballet and acting is a great combination when it involves French film actress and ballerina Leslie Caron. She began her career as a ballerina and made many of her films in the 1950's and 1960's where she danced and acted alongside the best and most famous leading men. I love her in “An American in Paris" with Gene Kelly (1951) you can see and feel the passion she has for dancing. She was also great in “Daddy Long Legs" with Fred Astaire (1955) playing a poor orphan rescued by Fred Astaire. And did I mention her beautifully spoken French accent!
